Copper-oxide, is a well-known and powerful anti-bacterial, anti-odour and sanitizing material. It also plays an important role in maintaining healthy skin helping to develop collagen and elastin, which maintain the strength of the skin.
A unique process, called Ultrasonic Cavitation, enables the fusion of 100% natural cotton fibers with copper compounds giving cotton permanent self-sterilizing features. The cotton fibers are then converted into yarns and fabrics.
The technology (CottonX®) is based on cavitating the copper inside the cotton fiber, which this prevents the migration of the copper particles out of the cotton fiber, keeping it active, forever.
